WELCOME TO OUR NEW DIGITAL CONTROLLER FOR EVOLVED GAS ANALYSIS (EGA)

Hyphenated Technology Instruments

The new digital controller for balanced flow EGA interfaces (known also as Hyphenated Techniques), has been unified in shape and dimensions and is now the same for all models!

All EGA systems have a 7″ touchscreen display with a user-friendly software already installed and configured for the chosen hyphenated model: TG-IR, TG-MS, TG-GCMS or TG-IR-GCMS.

The software is web-based provided with an IP address, accessible by any PC with any browser with no need of any installation on your computer.

Models Available

Standard models are available as traditional hyphenated technologies, to couple with TGA, FTIR and/or GCMS…

TG-IR EGA
(TGA + FTIR)

TG-MS EGA
(TGA + MS)

TG-GCMS EGA
(TGA + GCMS)

TG-IR-GCMS EGA
(TGA + FTIR + GCMS)

What has changed?

Inside the controller there is a real processor working on Evolved Gas Analysis. Take advantage of the high potential to run:

Possibility to check and set up temperatures and flow quickly, directly from the home of the touchscreen panel.

Fast GC allow very fast separation using new kind of GC + narrow & shorter GC columns. Coupling our Balanced Flow EGA system with Climachrom you allow also fast cooling down of the GC instrument cutting waiting times between one analysis and another…

E-Series controller enable multiple gas injections and separations across a single TGA experiment. Multiple injections can be set up using GC trigger event in your TGA or by developing a Runtime Program table available in our controller.

Differentiate temperatures by setting up a ramp which reduces the risk of a secondary degradation or pyrolysis due to the high temperature in the hyphenated system areas.

Stand-by procedure switch all zone to lower temperatures when the hyphenated instrument is not in use. This preserve pump, windows and cell lifecycle.

What has remained the same?

Transfer Lines

Up to 350°C  with replaceable inner liner.

TGA Adapter

Suitable for the major TGA in the market.

IR Cell

Up to 350°C, with our Zero Gravity design.

GSV Injection Block

Up to 280°C (350°C) with sampling loop.

Main Application Field for Evolved Gas Analysis

Hyphenated techniques are used for material characterization of known and unknown elements also in complex mixtures. EGA is used for many markets and applications areas such as…

Polymers, Rubbers & Plasticizers

Pharmaceuticals, Additives & Contaminants

Chemicals & Petrochemicals Products

Environmental Pollution

Hyphenation + Climachrom 2000 = Fast GC Cooling & New EGA Possibilities

Digital interfaces TG-GCMS and TG-IR-GCMS can be coupled with Fast GC for faster analysis and allow multiple injections. Acquire up to 5 GC separations or more during a single TGA run. This is a unique feature in the whole industry of hyphenated technologies!

No clogging or poor results, but proved high resolution and more information by a single analysis.

Above all, these interfaces can be coupled also with Climachrom 2000, our sub-ambient cooling system to reach up to -20°C with your GC in minutes. Gas Chromatograph can follow a temperature program and reach higher and lower temperatures during a single TGA run.

This complete configuration can help to detect:

  • EPA volatiles
  • Finished petroleum products and chemicals contained
  • Industrial chemicals
  • an more…

With this GC Accessory your are able to reach for example: -10°C / 5°C to identify chemical compounds in crude oils and its derivates, or to find difficult additives contained in polymers and consumer products, etc…

Useful for: Polymers and Petroleum/Chemical Products, Reverse Engineering, Consumer Goods and Plastics, Rubbers, etc. …
